A week of sunshine
thoughts on intuitive health and how our ancestors knew more about healing than we do.
Hello and welcome to The Beautiful Chaos - my personal journal of smallholding and renovating adventures as an unschooling family of six. I write about things that are important to me - Nature, Naturopathy, self-sustained living, health and homes, organic gardening and raising animals. Plus other things that make me who I am, and are a part of my story. Free subscribers can read the first part of this week’s words, and receive my monthly editions - May edition is out next Sunday :) To read this post in its entirety, and access my full archive, back story plus all additional resources available here (which you can read about in the about page) please consider becoming a paid subscriber. For less than the cost of a superfood smoothie you will have access to so much extra content and you’ll be supporting my work so I can keep creating MORE of this for you. Thank you x
I really hope the sun has been shining in your part of the world, as it has in mine. It feels truly glorious and although still in the shock state of grief I am not immune to its power in lifting and enhancing my mood and mindset.
I have spoken so many times about Nature and its capacity to hold and reflect a person’s emotional presence, meet its energetic state and then help to normalise or return the body back to balance. It seems to me that Nature wants me to connect intuitively with my environment and when I do so, there is something greater than me that takes over and informs me on a deep deep level, of just what I need.
