It’s funny how we ended up actually buying a house that is much smaller than the one we left behind.
Having lived in the same house for 15 years and raised a family of four boys we quite literally were bursting at the seams.
We had maxed out every available nook and cranny to become useful space for family use or storage. ‘Don’t move - improve’ became our motto.
Ideal Home magazine would be proud indeed! The struggle of selling our home had instead forced us to extend as much as possible and use our imagination and creativity to allow for a growing family.
So the need for space was the biggest driver in wanting to move. That, and leaving town living for a more rural environment.
