Welcome to The Beautiful Chaos—a vibrant tapestry of my wild life, from tales of renovation to naturopathy and herbal healing, smallholding, sovereign living, and unschooling adventures. This is my personal journal, where I share heartfelt musings on the moments that ignite curiosity and inspire deeper exploration. And I love to share it all with you, my wonderful subscribers!
Nestled in the wild beauty of the English countryside, I live on a growing smallholding with my husband and our four children, crafting a life of freedom, abundance, and sustainability for ourselves and future generations. Each day presents its own challenges, and while we often find ourselves muddling through rather than thriving right now, our purpose remains clear—to seek out the moments of joy, nourishment, and wonder that make this journey truly meaningful.
Free subscribers receive the monthly edition straight to their inbox as well as occasional notes in between. Paid subscribers receive weekly publications on all things smallholding, renovation, organic and sustainable living, naturopathy and herbs. They also have access to all my naturopathy resources that I normally charge for in clinic and access the chat function to feel a part of the community. In addition, paid subscribers can read the entire archive and read all about my back story and the journey that brought us here in the first place.
This one is for paid subscribers :)
In the past month, I have returned to a practice that carried me through the uncertainty of the COVID era. There are many lessons that period in time gave me but the one that made the most impact in supporting my mental health and resilience was meditation.
It’s quite ridiculous isn’t it, how when life runs away with us we simply forget or just don’t prioritise the key practices that keep us vibrating at our highest.
Life has a way of pulling us in countless directions, stretching our capacities, and leaving us overwhelmed with an ever-growing to-do list. Oh boy do I know this!
But at the start of February when things felt truly awful and overwhelming for a multiple of reasons, I decided to gift myself a little self-care practice that I remember now to be a truly sacred practice, full stop.
