More colour, more vibrancy, more joy.

More colour, more vibrancy, more joy.

Hello hello my friend and a very HAPPY new year to you.

I want to share one thing I am consciously going to do more of this year - This year, I’m stepping out of the neutral zone—literally—and resolving to wear more colour. It might seem like a small change, but I’ve come to realise that the way I dress reflects (and influences) my mood, energy, and even confidence. Bold hues, vibrant patterns, and unexpected combinations are my way of inviting joy and creativity into every day.

After spending the most part of the last year, even two in neutral darker tones I am beginning to understand wearing more colour is an opportunity to express who I am and the energy I want to share with the world.

As I was preparing this piece I spent a lot of time reflecting on why choosing more colour is about more than just clothes. It’s about embracing the parts of myself that crave vibrancy and joy. It’s about showing up authentically and breaking away from the fear of standing out. It’s a reminder that life is meant to be colourful—not just in what we wear, but in how we live.

I think last year, unconsciously I cocooned myself in neutral and muted tones—soft beiges, quiet greys, earthy greens. Maybe a nod to simplicity and nature, a way to stay grounded. But as I reflect, I realise it was more than that. It was my way of hiding, of blending into the background, of softening the edges of my existence as I navigated all the parts of me that were healing and transforming.
